Summer-time in Jekka's Herb Garden
We have been enjoying glorious sunshine in Jekka's Herb Garden over the past couple of weeks. The garden is evolving every day and it has been so inspiring to watch it take shape. Despite only being planted in February the herbs have really started to flourish in their new location.
As we reflect on this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which took place this week, we are delighted to hear so many people talking about herbs and the plants that we grew for the show gardens.
A trend this year has been 'Edimentals' (edible ornamental plants). As we have always believed that 'herbs look good, taste good and do you good' many of our herbs can be considered Edimentals!

Jekka's HerbFest 2023
We are very much looking forward to Jekka's HerbFest in a few weeks, on Friday 30th June, Saturday 1st July and Sunday 2nd July.
We are delighted to include Jane Porter in our line-up for Sunday. She will be sharing her journey to RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year with her Choose Love show garden.
Also, an amendment to our Friday line-up, Mark Diacano will demonstrating in Jekka's Marquee where he will be making new cocktails and sharing recipes from his latest cookbook.
And finally we would like to introduce you to Phil King who will be curating the live music over the weekend, accompanied by his friends and band. Phil will be providing a beautiful soundtrack for you to enjoy whilst sitting next to Jekka's Herb Garden and enjoying food from the Bristol Folk House and our Artisan Stalls.
Jekka's June Open Days
We are very excited that at our open days next week, on Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd June, we will be joined by Bee McGovern from the National Institute of Medical Herbalists who will be hosting medicinal herb walks around Jekka's Herbetum. Tours will be taking place each day at 10am and 1.15pm.
Jekka will also be giving herb talks at 11.15am and 2.45pm.
Our open days are a wonderful opportunity to explore our Jekka's Herb Garden, buy herb plants and receive personal gardening advice from our team.
