Medicinal
Marigold flowers have been used topically throughout history to treat a variety of skin problems where infection, inflammation and associated soreness are a problem.
Traditionally seen by herbalists as a natural antiseptic, preparations of this herb have often been applied to cuts and grazes to promote healing. It has also been recommended as an infusion to be taken internally to help with digestive problems relating to inflammation of the gut, and to assist with digestive issues relating to the liver and gallbladder.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy.
