Medicinal
Tansy is limited in its use and so is not commonly used. Externally, a decoction (simmered infusion) of the herb has been used as a wash for scabies, while internally, it has sometimes been used to rid a person of intestinal worms. Long term use should be avoided.

Caution: Avoid in pregnancy.
